About this role

The Role: We are currently recruiting for a Yard Shunter to join our transport team in Shirebrook. This is a key role responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles within the transport yard, supporting warehouse operations and ensuring trailers are positioned correctly for loading. Key Responsibilities Safely manoeuvre vehicles between bays within the transport yard and across site delivery points Operate a range of vehicles, including shunt tugs and HGVs Position trailers and containers on loading bays for live and scheduled loading Work closely with Warehouse and Transport teams to ensure smooth operations Liaise with third-party and service provider drivers Ensure vehicles are available for inspection and maintenance as required Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times Previous experience within a transport or yard environment (preferred) Valid HGV licence (essential) Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Reliable and flexible approach to shift work Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Along with your benefits package we also offer a wide range of perks for our colleagues: Frasers Champion- Our employees are at the heart of our business and we ensure individuals are recognised every single month for their hard work.
