As a Working Student in our Accounting & Finance team, you will support day-to-day financial operations while helping drive automation, process improvements, and digital transformation initiatives. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience, work with modern finance technologies, and contribute to the development of a highly automated and data-driven finance function. Your Responsibilities Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Support automated workflows between Payhawk and NetSuite and help optimize existing finance processes Collaborate with internal departments and external partners Support automation and AI initiatives within the Finance department Assist in testing and implementing new finance tools and digital solutions Help create and maintain process documentation, workflows, and best practices Participate in ad hoc projects related to process optimization, automation, and finance transformation Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Strong interest in accounting and financial processes Basic knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS or HGB is a plus) Proficient in MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus Curious about AI, automation, and digital technologies; familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) is an advantage Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn Fluent in English and German Here are some reasons why you will love working at Maltego: Gain hands-on experience in a technology-driven, automated Finance Department that leverages digital tools for efficiency and innovation Participation in real automation and digital transformation projects Flexible working hours tailored to your academic schedule A supportive and experienced finance team Insight into real-world accounting practices Opportunity to grow and take on more responsibility At Maltego, we are committed to diversity and inclusion.
