About this role
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Providing authoritative advisory services to managers and supervisors through interpretation and application of Federal human resources laws, regulations, policies, and guidance related to workforce relations, including employee relations, labor relations, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), ethics, conduct, performance, and suitability matters.
Advising senior leaders and managers on complex or sensitive workforce issues and recommending courses of action that ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, negotiated agreements, and agency policies. Exercising judgment, flexibility, ingenuity, and professional expertise to analyze unique or unprecedented workforce management problems, reconcile conflicting information, and develop effective solutions that support organizational objectives.
Applying employee and labor relations (ELR), EEO, and ethics principles and practices to resolve conduct and performance issues, grievance and complaint matters, labor-management concerns, equal employment issues, and other workforce relations functions.
