ROLE: Greenford Park Warehouse Manager REPORTS TO: Head of Logistics & Gallery Operations LOCATION: Greenford, New Bond Street HOURS: Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00 THE ROLE The Greenford Park Warehouse Manager plays a crucial role within our organization overseeing the site and ensuring the safe delivery, handling, storage and release of artworks from Sotheby’s care.
This role requires a blend of leadership skills, art handling experience and knowledge, as well excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and motivating a team of onsite technicians to deliver exceptional service standards to both internal and external clients. The role requires effective collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders including Specialist departments, Risk Management & Security, Facilities, Client Experience, Seller Operations and Photography Studios, to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely execution of operational activities.
Through strong leadership and cross-functional partnership, the Warehouse Manager drives operational excellence, supports business objectives, and ensures seamless coordination across the artwork and sales lifecycle. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse ensuring efficient receiving, storage, handling, movement and preparation for transportation of artworks. Collaborate with the New Bond Street Gallery Manager to schedule all internal sales transport between Greenford Park & New Bond Street.
