Remote
Virtual AI Prompt Coach
About this role
Key Responsibilities Support participants within an assigned Zoom breakout room and respond when they become stuck or request help. Diagnose weak, incomplete, inaccurate, overly generic, or unexpected AI outputs by reviewing the participant’s objective, prompt, context, instructions, and intended deliverable. Provide tool-agnostic guidance and help participants improve prompts and outputs through iteration without taking over the activity.
Explain AI concepts and troubleshooting steps clearly to participants with different levels of AI experience. Help participants evaluate outputs for accuracy, completeness, relevance, unsupported assumptions, bias, and appropriate use. Reinforce responsible handling of confidential information, escalate questions outside the coach’s role, flag recurring issues to the instructor, and participate in required preparation and debrief activities.
Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience using generative AI for professional, business, educational, or substantial project work. Demonstrated ability to refine prompts and troubleshoot weak, inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected AI-generated outputs across different platforms. Excellent verbal communication, active-listening, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to guide participants with varying levels of AI experience without taking over or completing their work.
Experience providing live support to users, customers, learners, colleagues, or participants. Proficiency using Zoom, including breakout rooms, chat, screen sharing, audio and video controls, and other common meeting functions. Sound judgment regarding AI accuracy, privacy, confidentiality, bias, human review, responsible use, and appropriate escalation. Preferred Qualifications Experience using more than one leading generative AI platform, such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, Claude, or a comparable tool.
Experience supporting adult learners, facilitating virtual sessions, or providing one-on-one technical or instructional coaching. Experience creating practical HR or business work products with generative AI. HR or related subject-matter experience—particularly in HR operations, learning and development, analytics or dashboarding, workforce planning, or employee relations and investigations—is helpful but not required.
