About the Role As a Hybrid Editor based in Amsterdam, you will harness the power of AI innovation to transform raw film footage or generated shots into polished, high-impact films. Joining our EMEA Content Studio, you will balance top-tier editing skills with a solid understanding of post-production pipelines and cutting-edge creative tools. You understand how pacing, sound design, motion, and editing converge to tell a compelling story, working closely with a talented creative team to deliver premium assets for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with Directors, Producers, and Creatives to interpret scripts and integrate AI-driven techniques that bring the client's vision to life. Craft story-driven edits and animations using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. Innovate with diverse styles and techniques, combining traditional editing with AI-generated video, graphical elements, and sound selection to elevate storytelling.
Maintain high visual standards across all deliverables, ensuring every asset meets brand and platform specifications. Leverage AI tools throughout the editing process to enhance overall output quality and workflow efficiency. Deliver exceptional work on schedule by managing your time alongside operations and production teams. About You The essentials: 4+ years of professional editing experience with a strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling and production technique.
Fluency in Dutch and English. Advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and solid experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics. Educational background in Film & Media Studies (or equivalent practical experience) combined with a genuine passion for modern filmmaking tools. A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving agency setting. Not a must, but a plus: Experience using DaVinci Resolve for colour grading and finishing.
