About this role
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-01, equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-04, or equivalent in other pay systems.
Examples of specialized experience includes experience with assisting the commander/director in accomplishing all necessary internal operations; serving as the primary source of information and point of contact for the organization; ensuring unit program compliance with regulations, laws, policies, and squadron commander directives; recommending courses of actions and providing advice and guidance to staff in the organization on administrative, clerical, and procedural requirements; and performing clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization for programs such as task management, cybersecurity liaison (CL), Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Defense Travel Systems (DTS) administrator, Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) Program, health care program, fitness program, Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts, security program, supply program, civilian timecard program and unit recognition program.
NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement. OR EDUCATION: Successful completion of four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Successful completion of 60+ semester hours of education above high-school level and therefore meet the basic requirements as described in the vacancy announcement with a combination of my education and experience.
