Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience Statement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which includes experience in leading diverse multi-functional teams to deliver successful projects; analyzing requirements, writing technical and/or functional requirements, and testing requirements for IT business systems with the intent of finding software defects, and verifying the software is fit for its intended purpose; various transportation deployment systems and solving transportation system problems; and working with automated information systems such as the Global Freight Management System and software packages; preparing and presenting briefings, reports, papers.
