Transport Coordinator

About this role

Scope of Position: Support the dispatch & collection of shipments in an efficient & timely manner. Liasing with operations, effectively managing and negotiating costs and ensuring sub-contractors & hauliers are operating as per Expeditors requirements. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the deliveries throughout Ireland Complete and delegate the daily drivers sheets for the Dublin area Manage all country deliveries through approved country hauliers Maintain the collection database & coordinate pickups with drivers throughout the day Delegate domestic jobs for the Dublin Office Responsible for interdepartmental & external billing on a monthly basis Monitor the collections & airport drivers Source pricing for deliveries or collections where needed Organise any special deliveries or collections where needed 1-3 Years Industry Experience Team Orientated Excellent organisational Skills Effective communications skill Word & Excel Experience Expeditors offers excellent benefits package.
