TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying wide range of communications and electronics concepts, principles and practices to accomplish the work assigned. Experience evaluating the inter-relationships between existing electronic and communication equipment, circuits, automated switches, operating protocols and characteristics and equipment control systems, with the interconnect-ability and inter-operability of new equipment, switches, circuits and software that may differ in kind from those presently in use.
Experience planning and implementing electronic and communications installation involving a variety of available equipment, services, security methods and operating techniques, including automated switches, packet switching systems, and control devices. Experience understanding, evaluating, and translating the needs of communications users into requirements.
