Provide course descriptions as necessary. Specialized Experience Requirement: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level. Specialized experience is defined as three or more of the following: Developing strategies for planning and implementation of the Land Mobile Radio services; Analyzing and making changes to business practices and policies to align with organization regulations and policies; Providing advice on the relationship of major policy decisions and program objectives on all proposals affecting land mobile radio portfolio and programs; Responsible for the interim and annual review of program operations and the maintenance of performance standards; Providing technical and administrative supervision to employees in a variety of professional and non-professional occupations.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
