As a Technical Developer Specialist, you will help troubleshoot and improve beta projects within the Roblox ecosystem.
You will combine hands-on development expertise with technical problem-solving to identify issues, provide guidance, and help developers create better experiences. You will test projects in beta, diagnose technical and development issues, and work with engineering and internal teams when problems require deeper investigation. You will also create and improve technical documentation, examples, and best practices to help developers better understand Roblox Studio, scripting, game mechanics, and other development tools.
This role is ideal for an experienced Roblox developer who enjoys solving technical problems, sharing knowledge, and helping others improve their development skills. As you grow in the role, you will expand your knowledge of new technologies and contribute to improving the overall developer experience across the Roblox platform. You Will Test projects in beta and identify potential issues or areas for improvement. Help debug technical issues and identify potential solutions.
Provide technical guidance, documentation, examples, and best practices. Collaborate with engineering and other internal teams when issues require deeper investigation. Identify recurring questions or problems and help improve documentation, examples, and developer resources. Learn new technologies and develop increasing familiarity with the Roblox ecosystem. You have: Roblox Studio: Advanced proficiency with Roblox Studio, including core building tools, asset management, and game structure.
