Team Lead Account Executives
About this role
ABOUT THE ROLE This is a hands-on sales leadership position at a fast-growing B2B SaaS company serving industrial Mittelstand customers across the DACH region. You will carry a personal quota while leading a team of approximately five Account Executives, owning a greenfield market opportunity and shaping the go-to-market strategy that drives it forward. The role sits at the intersection of people development, deal execution, and commercial strategy, making it a rare opportunity for a player-coach who wants real impact.
WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own a customer segment and lead a team of roughly five Account Executives to capture a large DACH market opportunity. - Close deals against a personal quota while coaching the team to exceed collective targets. - Partner with sales leadership to shape and execute go-to-market strategy in a greenfield market. - Join critical customer conversations to guide deal strategy, reduce risk, and support negotiations and business case development.
- Build a high-performing team through structured training, hands-on deal support, and performance management. - Implement and coach structured sales methodologies, including MEDDIC, to sharpen discovery, negotiation, and pipeline discipline. - Drive performance through metrics tracking, pipeline reviews, and action planning to increase win rates and deal velocity. - Identify AI-driven workflows that accelerate team productivity and share best practices across the wider sales organisation.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 3 or more years as an Account Executive in B2B SaaS, with a focus on complex, non-transactional sales cycles. - At least 1 year in a sales leadership role, ideally within a high-growth SaaS environment. - A consistent, demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Experience coaching a sales team and providing hands-on deal support and performance management. - Ability to apply and teach structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC.
- Experience contributing to go-to-market strategy in a new or underpenetrated market. - Fluency in both German and English is required. - Background in manufacturing procurement technology or selling to industrial customers is a plus.
