T5 PROGRAM ANALYST

About this role

AREA OF CONSIDERATION (AOC): This is a Title 5 "Excepted Service " position under the authority of Title V, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)", and is open to US citizens interested in helping the Department of the Army meet our mission requirements. This position is open to Area 1 Only. Please note that applicants outside of these categories may not be considered. Area 1: Current employees (Tenure 1 and 2 / internal to the Agency) Area 2: All other applicants (external to the Agency) Applicants who meet one of the DoD Priority Placement Program categories below are eligible to apply with this preference.

For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment. GENERAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management.

Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience, education, or training which has provided application of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management. Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management.

*Other Requirements - For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver's license for the state in which they live or are principally employed. For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT & NOTES: 1.
