SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledge of the full range of supply policies, procedures, and regulations from the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DON), NAVSUP, and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
Utilizing Warehousing and Storage Management, Inventory Management, Physical Inventory Control, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) management, and Traffic Management. Utilizing Logistics and Financial Systems such as Navy's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and MILSTRIP. Possessing supervisory skills to manage personnel, plan and assign work, and evaluate performance. Conducting management studies and analyzing metrics to develop recommendations to improve supply processes.
Managing physical facilities, including the maintenance and upkeep of warehouses and associated material handling equipment (MHE).
