SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing and providing technical oversight of comprehensive quality assurance programs within a complex industrial or manufacturing environment. Specialized experience must also demonstrate the following: Applying quality assurance concepts and methodologies, such as those within an ISO-9001 framework, to sustain a Quality Management System (QMS) in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Leading or serving as a primary liaison for internal or external quality audits, coordinating responses, or managing corrective actions for non-conformances. Providing technical oversight of quality control activities related to manufacturing processes such as materials testing, welding, or non-destructive testing. Leading teams or projects to analyze quality problems, perform root cause analysis, or implement process improvements using methodologies like statistical process control or Lean Six Sigma.
