Supervisory Psychologist (Branch Manager, Organizational Effectiveness)

About this role

Basic Qualifications: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in Psychology. In addition to the basic qualifications, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I (FG/GS-13) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position being filled.

To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower level in normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience includes: Experience leading efforts to implement organizational development and change management solutions within a technical work environment; Experience facilitating multi-disciplinary teams to analyze business needs and to identify performance and cultural gaps to maximize the collective efforts of all people involved in a change, and to minimize the risk of implementation failure; and Experience applying psychological principles, theories, methods, or data to evaluate practical situations, organizational behavior and performance challenges for developing a planned approach to change within an organization.
