SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER

About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in developing, analyzing, or implementing strategic plans and policies related to military force posture, basing, or operational planning within a joint, bilateral, or international environment.

This includes experience with campaign plans, contingency plans, or theater-level strategic objectives. Experience supervising or leading teams responsible for complex, multi-faceted programs. This includes assigning work, managing performance, overseeing staff development, and managing team resources to achieve strategic goals. Experience engaging with and providing strategic advice to senior-level officials (military or civilian) on complex political-military issues.

This includes representing an organization in bilateral or interagency forums and communicating sensitive topics effectively. Knowledge of international agreements and security cooperation frameworks (such as Status of Forces Agreements or other defense cooperation guidelines) to inform strategic planning and program implementation.
