Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes evaluating support programs addressing the needs of service members and their families, developing policy and procedures regarding military community and family support programs, maintaining contract oversight for total support for service members and their families, tracking all contract modifications to ensure compliance, and performing a full range of first-level supervisory responsibilities, such as; assigning work to subordinates, evaluating work performance of subordinates, interviewing candidates for positions and identifying training needs of employees.
