SUPERVISORY PHYSICAL SCIENTIST

About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in advanced marine sciences, including oceanography, ocean dynamics, and complex data assimilation methods.

Experience utilizing cutting-edge computer methods for numerical environmental analysis and predictive modeling. Experience providing strategic supervision and leadership to guide high-performing scientific and production teams. Experience leading high-impact innovation and developing long-range plans aligned with organizational missions.
