Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Additional information about transcripts is in this document. This position has selective placement factor which must be met prior to employment and for continued employment. Selective Placement Factor: Professional Engineering (PE) License or Professional Registration as a Registered Architect (RA). In addition to meeting the selective placement factor above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the specialized experience requirements below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) participating in project planning, providing construction perspective input on schedules and costs, and reporting on project progress; 2.) performing contract administration functions which includes reviewing contractor submittals, processing payment estimates, preparing and approving contract modifications, and maintaining contract administration records; 3.) participating in design reviews and assisting with quality assurance inspections, helping to resolve routine technical issues that arise on the construction site; 4.) coordinating with contractors, designers, and agency representatives on technical and administrative matters to exchange information and resolve project issues; 5.) identifying constructability issues and analyzing routine construction-related problems to recommend solutions in accordance with established engineering standards and contract requirements; and 6.) leading a technical multi-disciplinary staff to ensure timely and quality performance of assigned construction projects.
