About this role
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education(external link) at the time the degree was obtained. AND Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position.
To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing at least ALL of the following: Directing domestic and international programs, analyzed emerging policy issues, and delivering precedent-setting recommendations that resolved cross-cutting challenges and drove executive management decisions. Leading comprehensive research and program evaluations on public health issues, produced expert recommendations that informed executive decisions and represented the organization as policy authority before federal, congressional, and international stakeholders.
Serving as principal liaison across federal agencies and international organizations, coordinating global health program communications and supporting engagement with senior officials.
