SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL SPECIALIST (TITLE 5)

About this role

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess possess skill in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; skill applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material; skill in presenting formal training presentations and briefings; and the ability to prepare reports and presentation formats. GS-12 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess one year of specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the GS 11 grade level that demonstrates experiences in leading, planning and scheduling program work in a manner that promotes smooth flow and even distribution of assigning work requirements; experiences training and guiding employees on finance programs and assigning tasks; experiences involved balancing finance program work requirements, finance and budget program policies, and providing advice, mentoring, and direction on a wide variety of tasks; and, addressing employee performance issues.

This specialized experience must also include knowledge of pay systems supporting Military Services and Defense Agencies.. SELECTED APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE AND MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DOD FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (FM) CERTIFICATION PROGRAM.
