GS-12 QUALIFICATIONS One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11 for the GS-12) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. GS-12: Specialized Experience Is Defined As: (1) Providing leadership to a financial management organization that involves expert analysis and assessment of the organization's highest visibility initiatives or projects; AND (2) Demonstrate using financial management programs, processes and systems; providing advice and recommendations to senior managers regarding issues impacting financial management processes and functions; AND (3) Participating in developing agency-level financial management standards, policies and procedures to ensure efficient delivery of services.
