About this role

Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Providing technical guidance and assistance to management and financial program staff on financial management, accounting, revenue collection, bond management, audit oversight, internal controls, financial reporting, or related financial operations.

Leading or coordinating team members by assigning work, setting priorities, monitoring progress, reviewing work products, resolving issues, and supporting completion of financial program objectives. Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements, accounting documents, audit responses, activity summaries, or financial reports to support management decision-making, program oversight, and regulatory compliance.

Interpreting and applying financial laws, regulations, policies, directives, rulings, or audit findings to assess compliance, identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and improve financial management procedures. Analyzing financial transactions, systems, processes, and internal controls to identify risks, resolve operational issues, improve reporting reliability, and support accountability for financial or revenue-related programs.
