About this role

TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION AT THE GS-12 LEVEL YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service. This experience must have equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this position.

Specialized experience includes: coordinating elements of a billing program; providing oversight to third party liability, billing and coding actions; developing systems; and establishing internal debt management policies. This experience must have equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this position. Specialized experience includes: implementing and managing all aspects of billing activities; providing management oversight, guidance, corrective measures, and direction to ensure the integrity and accuracy of healthcare claims; providing oversight to third party liability, billing and coding actions; developing systems; establishing internal debt management policies; and providing advice, counsel or instructions to employees on administrative and technical matters.
