SUPERVISORY DATA SCIENTIST

About this role

Basic Requirements: Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position. or Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying advanced analytical techniques to fleet readiness and business operations data.

Experience applying advanced data science, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning principles and practices. Experience translating complex data results into clear written reports, tables, graphs, charts, and visualizations. Experience aggregating data from internal and external sources, ensuring data quality, and preparing data for analysis. Experience designing and implementing data ingestion and preparation techniques to support analytics and data science projects.
