A qualified candidate must possess the following: Minimum five years of extensive work experience in applying acquisition laws, contract principles, statues, Executive Orders, regulations and/or procedures applicable to pre-award and post award actions.

One year supervisory experience leading, teaching, and mentoring others. Minimum five years of extensive work experience in procuring and administering contracts. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Bachelor's degree which includes a minimum of 24 semester hours of business courses, Certified Professional Contracts Manager, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Level II/III in contracting or other applicable professional contracting certification.

Warranted Contracting Officer in services, supplies and construction.
