Supervisory Contract Specialist

About this role

Applicants must possess at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band/grade level (NF-03 or GS-11/12 equivalent) in the federal service or commercial contracting sector. Qualifying specialized experience includes demonstrable proficiency in: -Planning, preparing, soliciting, negotiating, awarding, administering, and closing out contracts for complex supplies and services (with emphasis on firm fixed-price contracts).

-Conducting price and cost analysis to determine fair and reasonable pricing for commercial and non-commercial proposals. -Interpreting procurement laws, regulations, and local operating procedures (NAF and/or Federal Acquisition Regulation [FAR] standards). -Providing business advisory services to program managers and executive leadership on procurement strategy and problem resolution. -Leading, mentoring, or directly supervising acquisition personnel or project teams.
