About this role

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You must meet the "Specialized Experience" to qualify for the Supervisory Auditor position, as described below: Applicants must have 1-year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal Service.

Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Specialized experience at this level includes: Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of various programs, operations and functions of an organization using government auditing standards; Developing, designing and modifying audit plans; Determining sufficiency of work papers and related evidence developed by staff members.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
