SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

About this role

In addition to basic education requirements, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to theNT-04 (GS-11-12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional contracting specialist, managing contract activities (e.g. procurement or contractual strategies, planning, solicitation, negotiations, administration) to ensure procurement or contractual obligations are in compliance with regulations governing the acquisition or procurement of services, equipment, or materials for an organization.

Basic Qualification Requirements for Contracting Officer Positions: In addition to meeting the basic educational requirement as well as the requirements above, applicants must have:1) At least two years of experience in contracting positions; and 2) Completed all contracting courses required for a contracting officer for positions at the level and grade at which the person is serving. Certification at this level is sufficient to meet this standard.
