📋 Description Own the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for Coinbase's wallet, liquidity, and Build and evolve the distributed backend systems (Go) that orchestrate liquidity movements Drive service-oriented architecture improvements by decomposing legacy systems into modular Partner with Trading, Custody, Staking, and cross-platform engineering teams to define integration Lead reliability and operational excellence for wallet services, owning observability, incident Shape engineering standards and technical culture across the team and broader Blockchain Platform 🎯 Requirements 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with deep expertise in Go and designing Demonstrated track record of architecting and operating production backend services that handle Hands-on experience with blockchain technologies, including transaction construction, signing Proven history of decomposing monolithic systems into scalable microservices or platform primitives Track record of influencing technical direction across teams without direct authority, including Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs 🎁 Benefits Base salary varying by location (range: $218,025 - $256,500 USD) Equity and bonus eligibility Medical, dental, vision, 401(k)
