Role Summary Reddit is a community of communities, built around the conversations, interests, and experiences people share with one another. The Content Ecosystem organization works to grow the community-driven ecosystem that makes Reddit unique. Within it, the Community Builders team focuses on the products and systems that help communities form, grow, and thrive. We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to help define the future of communities on Reddit.
This is a rare opportunity to shape one of Reddit’s most important consumer experiences: how people find communities, understand where they belong, connect with others, and participate in ways that make those communities stronger. You will lead highly ambiguous, zero-to-one product work that cuts across discovery, contribution, community identity, recognition, and emerging community formats. This is a high-stakes, high-visibility role for a PM with exceptional product judgment, strong user intuition, and sharp UX taste.
You will partner closely with Design, Engineering, Data, Research, and cross-functional leaders to turn ambiguous user and ecosystem problems into compelling product direction, moving fluidly from strategy to product detail and from early exploration through launch, learning, and scale. Responsibilities Identify major opportunities to evolve communities on Reddit, and turn them into a clear product strategy and roadmap.
Lead zero-to-one community experiences from problem definition through launch, learning, and scale. Build a deep understanding of members, contributors, community builders, and healthy community dynamics, and translate those insights into high-quality product experiences. Assess ecosystem tradeoffs as you evolve the user experience, including impacts to community health, contribution quality, and member trust. Define goals, success metrics, milestones, and learning plans that connect user value with Reddit’s broader strategy.
