Staff Platform Engineer
About this role
A key leadership role responsible for shaping the future of Platform Engineering across the organization. The position connects Platform Delivery, CloudOps, DevOps, SRE, Developer Experience, and AI Foundations into a cohesive internal platform product. Key Responsibilities Define and drive the long-term Platform Engineering roadmap. Make strategic architectural and technology decisions across the platform domain. Establish engineering standards, cloud-native practices, and quality benchmarks.
Lead the adoption of a platform-centric operating model and self-service capabilities. Provide technical leadership for the migration from on-premise infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Shape the technical foundations for scalable and secure AI adoption. Partner with Staff Engineers, engineering leaders, and cross-domain stakeholders to deliver a unified platform vision. Strong background in Platform Engineering at scale.
Broad expertise spanning Cloud, DevOps, SRE, Developer Experience, and Architecture. Experience building internal developer platforms and self-service ecosystems. Ability to influence technical decisions across multiple teams without relying on formal authority. Proven ownership, autonomy, and results-oriented mindset.
