USA remote
Sr. UX Designer, Security
About this role
Join the company that’s building the telemetry infrastructure for the AI era. At Cribl, we partner with IT and Security teams at many of the world’s biggest enterprises, including half of the Fortune 100, to bridge the gap between AI ambition and infrastructure reality. As the AI Platform for Telemetry, we give customers the choice, control, and flexibility to manage and analyze telemetry for both humans and agents, so they can build what’s next.
We’re one of the fastest‑growing private companies and a leading player in a massive, fast‑moving market. With a global workforce, we’re remote‑first and grounded in a simple idea: software is a people business. Cribl is the place where curious, collaborative people can do their best work, grow fast, and bring their full selves to the herd. Why You’ll Love This Role We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to help define and deliver Cribl security product experience.
You will design for security practitioners across detection, alerting, investigation, triage, search, threat coverage, telemetry, and AI-assisted workflows. This role requires a genuine security background and the ability to turn complex SOC workflows into clear, trustworthy experiences. You will partner with Product, Engineering, UX Research, and other designers to create a cohesive experience that works seamlessly with our other products across the entire Cribl platform.
As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will… Lead end-to-end design from problem framing and research through interaction design, prototyping, validation, and implementation. Design workflows for detection creation and management, alert review, investigation, triage, search pivots, threat coverage, normalization, and enrichment. Apply security judgment to evidence, provenance, confidence, severity, permissions, auditability, destructive actions, and operational risk.
Design AI-assisted and agentic experiences that make intent, context, sources, capabilities, uncertainty, and user approval clear. Use Cribl’s design system and contribute reusable components, patterns, guidance, and interaction models when the work has broader value. Work expertly in Figma for exploration, prototyping, documentation, collaboration, and handoff, including libraries, variables, components, variants, and tokens.
