The Role We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Product Platform team which builds foundational components and cross-functional capabilities for our ecosystem. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country where this role is based on the first day of employment.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. What You’ll Do Architect, implement, and maintain engineering solutions to solve complex problems; write well-designed, testable code. Independently deliver high-value projects from design through delivery. Collaborate with product managers on product requirements iterations, design feasibility and user feedback. Learn and promote best engineering practices. Document software functionality, system design, and project plans.

Debug and troubleshoot issues across the entire application stack. Mentor junior engineers, provide clear and constructive guidance Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders from other teams to resolve technical issues or coordinate dependencies Who You Are Extensive software engineering experience Track record of leading technical initiatives from design through delivery Proven ability to influence technical direction and make significant contributions to the architecture of complex, distributed systems.

Understanding of REST, service-based architecture, and distributed systems. A rapid learner with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with object-oriented programming Experience building services with Java, SQL and AWS. Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
