About this role

📋 Description Plan and conduct SQF audits (initial, surveillance, and recertification) according to SQF Institute Review food safety plans, HACCP systems, prerequisite programs, and documentation Assess GMPs, sanitation, allergen control, traceability, supplier approval, and food defense Interview management and operational staff, and gather objective evidence through document review Document nonconformities accurately, validate corrective actions, and communicate findings to Complete audit reports and related records on time and in line with certification body requirements 🎯 Requirements Active SQF Auditor certification (or the ability to obtain it) Minimum of 5 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or auditing in food Solid knowledge of the SQF Code, GFSI benchmarking requirements, HACCP principles, and GMPs Familiarity with FDA regulations, including FSMA requirements (Preventive Controls, Produce Safety Strong report writing and communication skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple audits, and meet tight deadlines
