About this role

ABOUT THE ROLE As the first Solutions Engineer at this early-stage AI company, you will own the technical side of enterprise sales end-to-end, sitting at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering. Your work directly shapes how complex deals are won and influences what gets built next, making this a high-impact, foundational hire. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead the technical dimension of every major deal, from the first demo through to a signed customer.

- Dive into customer workflows to identify the use cases that best demonstrate the product's value in their specific context. - Join sales conversations as the credible technical voice on integrations, data, security, and architecture, resolving concerns that stand between the customer and a buying decision. - Build and deliver proofs of concept and demos using customers' real data rather than idealized scenarios. - Feed deal insights back to the product and engineering team, distinguishing between demo-only requests, quick customer-specific builds, and core product needs.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 2+ years in Solutions Engineering, Technical Customer Success, Technical Consulting, or a closely related role. - Demonstrated ownership of the technical side of enterprise customer deals, not just brief customer-facing exposure. - Hands-on experience delivering proofs of concept and live demos using customers' real data in enterprise sales processes. - Proficiency in JavaScript and Python, with strong comfort working with APIs, integrations, and system architecture.

- Solid understanding of enterprise data security, privacy, and integration considerations, including ERP and CRM ecosystems. - Native-level German communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders and stay composed during live technical demos. - A track record of hearing the real problem behind a customer request and translating complex concepts for non-technical audiences. - Commercial judgment to identify blockers, read a room, and help move deals forward.

- Enthusiasm for working on-site in a fast-paced, high-intensity early-stage environment. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: 80,000 to 130,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
