About the Role Nightingale College is looking for a Solutions Architect who thinks in systems, builds with AI, and owns a problem from the first conversation all the way to production. This isn't a traditional developer role — you won't be handed a spec and told to code it. You'll talk directly with the people who have the problem, design a solution that actually fits, and use AI-native tools as your primary build engine to bring it to life.

At this level, you're not just delivering solutions — you're raising the bar for how the whole team delivers them. What You'll Do Engage directly with end-users and stakeholders to understand problems, surface requirements, and define what success looks like Design solution architectures that are practical, scalable, and grounded in real business needs Build and iterate on solutions using AI-native development tools and workflows Own your solutions from first conversation through production deployment Continuously shrink the time between spotting a problem and shipping working software Identify and act on opportunities to improve existing systems and workflows through AI-enabled solutions Mentor other Solution Architects and help raise the capability of the broader team What You Bring Significant experience in a solutions, technical, product, or systems role (see level breakdown below) A demonstrated ability to build and lead the delivery of complex, AI-built solutions Comfort operating with high independence — you know how to scope ambiguity into a solvable problem A systems-thinking mindset that spans multiple stakeholders and functional areas A track record of mentoring or developing other builders Strong communication skills that bridge business needs, technical reality, and organizational strategy Relevant cloud, data, or AI platform certifications are a plus, though not required Budgeted Hiring Range $173,000 — $224,000 USD All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah.
