About this role

The Solution architect for Enterprise Modernization in Europe is a senior subject matter expert responsible for technical excellence, solution integrity, and capability development within the service line. This hands-on role leads high-impact client engagements, contributes to pre-sales and solution design, and ensures the regional adoption and evolution of service-specific delivery frameworks, tools, and best practices.

The role brings deep expertise in modernization strategies and execution in large legacy systems modernization programs, serving as a trusted technical advisor to both clients and internal teams. This role is key to ensuring delivery quality, enabling service adoption, and evolving the technical maturity of the offering. Job responsibilities Provides technical guidance on Enterprise Systems Modernization. Supports delivery teams in solving complex client problems.

Contributes to solution design, proposals, and pre-sales activities. Develops and refines service accelerators and reference architectures. Mentors engineers and architects within the service domain. Acts as a bridge between delivery teams and global service development. Measures success by technical quality, asset adoption, and talent uplift. Requires 10+ years of experience in software engineering or technical consulting.

Requires 3+ years in Enterprise Systems Modernization advisory. Focuses on technical depth in modernization strategies and enterprise solution architecture. Job qualifications Technical Skills Experience supporting solution design and technical delivery in complex enterprise environments. Proven ability to build, extend, and support delivery tools, frameworks, and reusable assets. Deep technical expertise in modernization strategies, cloud architecture, and platform thinking.

Strong engineering skills, architecture patterns knowledge, and toolchain understanding. Excellent communication to translate technical insights into actionable business decisions. Collaborative with mentorship abilities and solution-oriented with asset contribution commitment. Professional Skills 10+ years in software engineering, platform delivery, or technical consulting roles. 3+ years in a subject matter expert or senior technical advisory role within Enterprise Systems Modernization.
