Software Factory Architect

About this role

Provide consultations in software engineering areas Act as a trusted technical advisor Design software development lifecycle and processes Recommend decisions and review end-to-end software solution architecture for complex projects Own and evolve the engineering vision across the software factory Define architecture standards, reference architectures and best practices Ensure consistency and alignment of architectures across the enterprise Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor Minimum 8 years of relevant IT professional experience Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role Minimum education level: Level 7 (Master's degree or equivalent) in an ICT-relevant field At least 2 of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) or equivalent, internationally recognized certification Minimum English language proficiency: B2 Knowledge of software architecture design for complex, distributed systems Proven experience designing enterprise-scale and cloud-native architectures Hands-on experience with backend and/or frontend development (e.g., .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript) Strong DevSecOps knowledge, including CI/CD strategy and platform design, containers, orchestration and platform engineering concepts Recognized technical leader with experience influencing teams without direct authority Ability to define and communicate architecture vision and technical strategies Ability to evaluate technical risk and make high-impact decisions Experience in mentoring senior engineers, development leads, technical leaders and architects Excellent communication skills Strong documentation skills Strong problem-solving skills Strong leadership skills Strong understanding of architecture styles Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure services Experience modelling systems in ArchiMate notation Security clearance required (EU Restricted) from 1st day of collaboration Arηs Group, Part of Accenture, specializes in the management of complex public sector IT projects, including systems integration, informatics and analytics, solution implementation and program management.
