Role We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer-SkillBridge Intern (San Jose CA or Bellevue WA) to join our team . This is a remote role based in San Jose CA or Bellevue WA, reporting to the Director, Site Reliability Engineering in the Zero Trust Exchange department . What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer with expertise in Operations, Engineering and FedRAMP compliance, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring Proficiency in Linux administration, network troubleshooting, and infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform) in cloud environments and containerized architectures Current Active Duty United States military member or Guard/Reserve component member on active duty orders for at least 180 days with 180 days or fewer remaining prior to discharge Unit commander approval and an approved MOU submitted before start What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Experience applying AIOps platforms, machine learning log analysis, or AI-driven predictive analytics to automate infrastructure anomaly detection and optimize cloud platform reliability Experience with containerized architectures such as AWS ECS and Kubernetes, alongside knowledge of web security protocols (HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, SQL) and networking fundamentals Coding experience in Python for automation and software integration #LI-TJ1 #LI-remote At Zscaler, we are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve and the customers we work with.
