Role Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior SDET, Compliance to play a critical role in ensuring the quality, security, and regulatory reliability of Symphony’s compliance-driven solutions across both backend and frontend systems.
At Symphony, compliance is foundational. It means operating under strict regulatory, security, and data-governance requirements for financial institutions and other regulated industries. This includes secure call records, robust encryption, strict access controls, comprehensive audit logging, data-privacy protections (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), and adherence to industry certifications and audit standards. This is a hands-on technical leadership role.
You will design and build automated compliance validation frameworks, define and evolve compliance testing strategies, and integrate quality deeply into our development lifecycle. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure compliance is not an afterthought, but a built-in capability of our platform. Responsibilities: Own and drive compliance quality initiatives across backend and frontend systems. Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks focused on compliance validation. Define, evolve, and execute the next generation Compliance Test Strategy. Perform white-box testing to validate regulatory, security, and data-governance requirements. Embed shift-left testing practices, working closely with developers early in the SDLC.
Validate compliance behavior across Cloud (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, and Windows 10/11 environments. Identify, debug, and resolve compliance-related quality and risk issues. Mentor other SDETs and act as a quality leader and compliance advocate within engineering teams. Continuously improve compliance testing processes, tooling, and quality metrics. Required Qualifications : Technical Skills Strong programming skills in C# and Python.
