Chainlink Labs is looking for a Senior Sales Executive, Banking & Capital Markets – European Lead to drive the adoption of Chainlink across leading financial institutions throughout Europe. In this role, you will own and develop strategic relationships across banks, asset managers, market infrastructure providers, and other institutional financial organisations. You will work with senior decision-makers to identify where Chainlink can solve critical business and infrastructure challenges, develop opportunities from initial engagement through commercial close, and help institutions move from exploration to production adoption.

This is a highly entrepreneurial role for someone who combines deep knowledge of traditional financial markets with exceptional commercial instincts. You will operate with significant autonomy, navigating complex organisations, developing senior relationships, and working closely with teams across Chainlink Labs to turn emerging opportunities in tokenization and digital assets into meaningful commercial outcomes. Develop and execute account and market strategies that expand Chainlink's adoption across Banking & Capital Markets. Build trusted relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers, understanding their strategic priorities and identifying opportunities where Chainlink can deliver meaningful value. Originate, develop, negotiate, and close complex commercial opportunities, maintaining ownership throughout long and multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.

Develop a deep understanding of clients' existing infrastructure, digital asset strategies, and barriers to adoption to shape compelling solutions and commercial propositions. Act as a senior representative for Chainlink across the European institutional ecosystem, developing relationships with strategic partners and contributing to the company's presence in the market. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Operations, and other internal teams to translate institutional requirements into successful solutions and implementations.

Maintain a strong understanding of developments across tokenization, digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, and institutional DeFi, using these insights to identify emerging commercial opportunities. Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment, independently prioritizing the opportunities and relationships most likely to create significant impact. Requirements 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years within institutional finance, enterprise business development, strategic sales, or a related field.

Strong understanding of traditional financial markets, institutions, and infrastructure, with the credibility to engage senior stakeholders across Banking & Capital Markets. Demonstrated success developing and closing complex, high-value opportunities with institutional clients. Exceptional relationship-management skills, with evidence of building trusted, long-term relationships with senior clients, partners, and decision-makers.

Experience operating in a startup, scale-up, or similarly fast-paced environment, with a track record of translating a strong work ethic and high degree of ownership into standout individual results. Strong commercial judgment and the ability to navigate complex organizations, stakeholder groups, and lengthy decision-making processes. Ability to manage multiple high-priority opportunities and initiatives simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of execution.

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly when working with Product, Engineering, Solutions, and Operations teams to address client requirements. Working knowledge of digital assets, tokenization, blockchain technology, DeFi protocols, and the broader Web3 ecosystem. Preferred Requirements 2+ years of professional experience within Web3 or working directly with blockchain technology, decentralized applications, or smart contracts.

Deep knowledge of the institutional tokenization and real-world asset landscape, including the infrastructure, operating models, and barriers currently limiting adoption at scale. Existing senior relationships across the European Banking & Capital Markets ecosystem. Fluency in an additional European language, with German particularly valued. Chainlink Labs is a remote-first organization and employment eligibility is contingent upon residing in an approved hiring jurisdiction.

Team members may work outside their primary country of legal residence for a maximum of 90 days per calendar year.
