About the Role: The design team at Planet is looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape Planet's platform experience (insights.planet.com - free trial available).
In this role, you will be responsible for defining the core user journeys across our platform, addressing the needs of different user types (from admins, to developers, to end users). With a relentless focus on those users, you will define jobs-to-be-done and design end-to-end user flows across web frontends and agentic workflows. You will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to decompose these workflows into scalable, reusable UX building blocks, ultimately crafting a cohesive, user-centric platform experience.
The perfect candidate brings a track record of designing sophisticated, data-heavy geospatial applications. This role is full stack, in the design sense: you take a problem from discovery with users all the way to designing and building the interfaces, side by side with our engineers. This is a full-time, hybrid role which will require you to work from our Berlin or Haarlem office 3 days per week. Impact You’ll Own: Product Design Ownership: Lead the end-to-end process from discovery and prototyping to high-fidelity design.
