Senior Product Designer
About this role
About the Job Neptune Software is the AI execution layer for SAP. Enterprises are moving from software that records, to software that acts — AI agents running routine work while people govern the exceptions. What stands in the way isn't the models; it's that the logic agents need to act on is locked inside SAP. Neptune runs inside the customer's own landscape and makes that logic executable by AI: agent-ready context, governed tools, and applications where agents act under the customer's own authorizations, with guardrails enforced by the platform — not by the prompt.
With Naia, our AI layer, teams build from natural language and deploy agents on ECC today that carry to S/4HANA unchanged, always at Clean Core. SAP-certified, 500+ enterprises, fifteen years in production: we are where core business systems learn to act. As a Senior Product Designer at Neptune Software, you will play a central role in shaping the user experience of the Neptune DX Platform - the tool trusted by enterprises worldwide to build powerful business applications.
You'll bridge the gap between complex technical capabilities and intuitive, elegant interfaces, working hand-in-hand with product managers and engineers to craft experiences that genuinely delight our customers. This is a hands-on role: you will be in the design files and in the code, building working prototypes yourself rather than handing off static specs. Location Remote - Portugal Responsibilities Own the end-to-end design process - from discovery and user research through wireframing, prototyping, and final UI delivery Build interactive, code-based prototypes yourself - using React, TypeScript, javascript, and AI-assisted tooling - to validate ideas fast and hand engineers something real Translate complex enterprise workflows and user needs into clear, intuitive, and visually compelling product experiences Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are feasible, consistent, and aligned with business goals Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and competitor analyses to inform design decisions Maintain and evolve Neptune's design system, ensuring consistency across the platform Present and communicate design concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback iteratively Advocate for the end user throughout the product development lifecycle Why us?
