Summary: We're looking for a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to own the technical revenue accounting function as Anaconda scales from Python-for-data-science company to AI-native platform. You'll build the revenue processes and technical rigor that allow us to integrate three 2026 acquisitions and scale toward Big Four audit readiness, all while the business is moving fast. This is a hands-on, high-judgment seat where your technical accounting decisions have real operational consequences, not memo-writing in a vacuum.

This position reports to the Controller. What You'll Do: Own ASC 606 technical analysis for new and non-standard deals, including performance obligation identification, standalone selling price analysis, and variable consideration treatment, drafting technical accounting memos that guide how we recognize revenue Determine revenue treatment and billing mechanics for three acquired businesses transitioning from QuickBooks into NetSuite, including one on AWS Marketplace, building integration processes that scale correctly from the start Sit on the deal desk providing real-time revenue guidance to Sales and Legal on non-standard contracts, pricing structures, and hybrid models so deals close with proper revenue treatment baked in Own the quote-to-cash process end-to-end across Salesforce, Nue CPQ, NetSuite, Anrok, and Stripe, improving handoffs and data flow with RevOps as systems evolve Own monthly revenue close, including deferred revenue waterfall reconciliation, deferred commission accounting under ASC 340-40, and ACL/CECL credit loss analysis Lead the revenue recognition thread of external audits, preparing technical memos, workpapers, and sample support that meet Big Four documentation standards Build AI-enabled workflows for your team, such as memo drafting, reconciliation automation, and recurring reporting; that speed technical and operational work as revenue complexity scales Manage and develop the revenue team; currently one direct report Your Impact Will Be Measured Through: Accuracy, timeliness, and audit-readiness of ASC 606 technical memos and revenue conclusions that guide how we structure and recognize deals Clean, timely revenue recognition and billing integration for acquired businesses with minimal post-close adjustments Turnaround time and quality of real-time deal desk guidance on non-standard contracts, enabling Sales to close deals faster with proper revenue treatment Clean external audit results on revenue with minimal follow-up requests or restatements Measurable improvement in quote-to-cash system accuracy and process efficiency through AI-enabled automation What You Need: 6+ years progressive revenue accounting experience with hands-on ASC 606 application in SaaS or subscription business models CPA credential strongly preferred Experience with ASC 340-40 deferred commission accounting Demonstrated experience providing deal desk or real-time revenue guidance on complex or non-standard contracts Hands-on experience with quote-to-cash systems including Salesforce, NetSuite, and CPQ or billing platforms such as Nue, Zuora, or Chargebee External audit experience including technical memo writing and workpaper preparation that meets Big Four or national firm standards Experience using AI tools to speed technical accounting or reconciliation work, with readiness to build AI-enabled workflows for a team People management experience or clear readiness to manage and develop a technical accounting team Multi-entity accounting experience navigating legal and operational complexity across business structures Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance You embody our values of Clarity, Care and Candor You care deeply about fostering an environment where people of all backgrounds and experiences can flourish What Will Make You Stand Out: You've integrated revenue systems post-acquisition or handled purchase accounting revenue implications when combining billing platforms You've worked with various billing models , building 606-compliant allocation frameworks for tiered or variable pricing You have Big Four or national accounting firm audit background combined with in-house SaaS operational experience, bringing both technical rigor and practical system fluency You've built AI agents that automate manual review work like comparing dates, dollar amounts, addresses across systems and flags exceptions for human review while auto-approving clean transactions You've worked in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environments where you built revenue processes proactively rather than fixed mistakes reactively You've worked at open-source, AI, or data science companies where technical products required creative revenue treatment Why You'll Like Working Here: You'll thrive in a high-performance environment where results are recognized and rewarded Your work directly contributes to shaping the future of data science, machine learning, and AI in the enterprise You'll work alongside a collaborative team that values diverse, thoughtful discussion, clarity and candor You'll be supported by a culture that puts employees first - with flexible hours, a fully remote setup, and a genuine commitment to your wellbeing and growth The application deadline for this role is 11/17/2026; applicants will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until the role is filled.
