Senior HR Controlling Analyst
About this role
Payroll errors don't announce themselves. They hide in variances, edge cases and system mismatches — until they become audit findings, compliance risks or employee trust issues. Your job is to find them first. As SIXT's payroll control function within HR Controlling & Analytics, you will own the end-to-end monitoring of payroll data across European markets. You sit outside the Payroll team by design — giving you the independence to verify, challenge and escalate without conflict of interest.
Right now, a lot of this work is manual and market-specific. You'll change that: systematically automating recurring checks, building a standardised control catalogue, and establishing governance processes that scale across Germany, France, Portugal and beyond. This is a role with real ownership. You decide what gets checked, how it gets checked, and when a finding is material enough to escalate. About 75% of your time is hands-on analysis and control work — the rest is building the framework that makes the whole system repeatable, auditable and robust.
