Senior Grants Data Standards Analyst

About this role

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Probationary (or trial) period may be required You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing at least 3 of the following: Analyzing Federal grants data standards, grant system documentation, or grant business processes to identify data-related issues and recommend improvements; reviewing grants policies, system requirements, and data initiatives to evaluate compliance with Federal laws, regulations, and guidance and recommend any necessary changes.

Demonstrating extensive knowledge and experience across multiple grants lifecycle areas (such as in a system, data, or program context). Lifecycle areas include Program Setup, Pre-Award, Award, Payments, Post-Award, Program Reporting, and Single Audit. Extensively using one or more governmentwide grant systems (e.g., SAM.gov Assistance Listings, SAM.gov Entity Information, USAspending.gov, Grants.gov, or FAC.gov) as well as one or more agency grant management systems to input, publish, download or analyze grant-related data to fulfill program requirements and produce insights that inform program decisions and outputs.

Preparing analytical reports, issue papers, data analyses, decision memoranda, and briefing materials to support grant-related management decisions; communicating technical findings to nontechnical audiences through clear visualizations, reports, and briefings that support executives, program teams, or cross agency partners. Conducting analysis to support implementation of the Grants Reporting Efficiency and Agreements Transparency (GREAT) Act and development or implementation of the associated grants data standards or the Federal Integrated Business Framework (FIBF) for Grants; or making significant personal contributions to a major grant-related interagency effort.
