Senior Enterprise Data Architect, NF5

About this role

Eight or more years of progressively responsible experience in data architecture, data engineering, enterprise data integration, or related technical leadership in a large, complex, or regulated organization. An equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience may substitute for a portion of the experience. Experience must demonstrate the ability to analyze and modernize enterprise ETL/ELT workflows, including Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) mappings and packages; design or implement data pipelines with AWS Glue or comparable cloud integration services; and plan or support migration of data from legacy systems to AWS or a comparable cloud environment.

Applicants must demonstrate advanced SQL, database normalization, enterprise data modeling, ETL and ELT patterns, data validation and reconciliation, data lineage, operational monitoring, change control, and technical documentation. Working knowledge of relevant AWS services (S3, RDS, Redshift, IAM, and CloudWatch) and analytics platforms such as Snowflake and MicroStrategy is required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to assess technical designs and contractor deliverables against documented architecture, security, and performance requirements, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Certifications may document skills but are not required unless applicable workforce or system access rules designate one. As an authorized and privileged user of Department of Defense Information Systems, the applicant must possess or obtain required Information Assurance awareness by completing the DoD8570/DoD8140 requirements (i.e. Security+ Certification) as a condition of access within six months of employment and thereafter in accordance with DoD requirements.
